Connect to Amazon Alexa

1. To connect your Gemstone Lights device to your Amazon Alexa system: Open up the Alexa app on your phone.
2. On the home screen tap the Devices tab in the bottom right.
3. Tap your smart home skills at the bottom of the screen.
4. Select ‘enable smart home skills’ and a list of Alexa compatible devices will be displayed
5. Tap the search button in the top right corner and type Gemstone
6. Gemstone Lights will appear, select it now
7. Tap on Enable to use
8. The Gemstone Lights authentication page will be presented. Enter either the cell phone number or email associated with your Gemstone Lights account. Tap next step.
9. You will then be prompted to enter your Gemstone Lights account password. Enter that now and tap ‘next step’.
10. Once your account is authenticated you will be prompted to authorize your Amazon Alexa System to control your Gemstone Lights devices. Tap Authorize.
11. Tap close
12. Your Gemstone Lights devices have now been linked to your Amazon Alexa and can be controlled via voice commands or in the Alexa app on the devices tab.
