Screen Enclosure Lighting Support

LIGHTS WON’T TURN ON:

  1. Does the GFI Outlet have power? If your lights will not turn on, the first thing you should do is check to make sure that you have power in the outlet. A cell phone charger, blow dryer, etc. can be plugged into the outlet to see if there is power or not. If there is no power at the outlet, reset the GFI and repeat see if you have power at the outlet. If Nebula installed your GFI outlet and it is not working, please contact us and we will service your GFI outlet. Otherwise, please contact an electrician.
  2. Is the Remote Control Battery dead? After confirming your power source is working and your lights are not responding to your remote, the remote control battery may need to be changed. There should be a blue light at the top of the remote that flashes when pressing any button. If that does not happen, then change the battery in the remote. If the battery is weak you may still get a blue light but the remote may not have enough power to make the connection with the sensor. Therefore we recommend you change the battery. Also, try both batteries in the package if the first one doesn’t work. More often than not, in our experience, one of the batteries in the package has no charge. We recommend using Energizer batteries. We do not recommend Duracell (too thick) Rayovac batteries (don’t hold charge).

  3. If following Steps 1 and 2 do not resolve the issue, contact Nebula Lighting Systems for service.

LIGHTS COME ON BY THEMSELVES:

  1. If the lights come on by themselves, it is usually the result of a power surge of some sort. Flip the toggle switch OFF then back ON to reset the system. It is located underneath the main power supply.
  2. Some people experience more power surges than others. If that is the case, installing a timer will help.
